Backpacking Gear List

Let’s be honest. Getting outside is hard! Between planning, logistics, finding the time, and saving up money, there are tons of obstacles we must overcome BEFORE leaving the house!

For certain activities, like backpacking for example, figuring out what to bring can be straight up intimidating!

Don’t worry, we got you.

We’re making it easier to get outdoors!

If you’ve been wanting to go on a backpacking trip, but don’t know what to bring, use the list below as a guide!

-          65liter backpack

-          Backpack rain cover

-          Tent

-          Rain jacket

-          Trekking poles

-          Hydration (Filtration water bottles if sourcing natural water. A 3L water bladder works well too if potable water is available)

-          Baselayer top and bottom (for sleeping)

-          Headlamp

-          Sleeping pad

-          GPS

-          Paper map (as a backup)

-          Jetboil (or any other portable camp stove)

-          Gopro (pics or it didn’t happen!)

-          Extra socks

-          Toiletries

-          Camping pillow

-          Sleeping bag

-          Camp chair

-          Camp shoes (Chacos, Crocs, Flip flops etc.)

-          One set of clothes

-          Food (3-4 meals a day plus a lot of snacks!)

 

 

Use this list as a starting point when planning your adventures. While we do recommend the items on the list feel free to add (or subtract) items to fit your comfort level (and weather forecasts)!
